For the above image, I awoke at 4:15 am and drove about 30 minutes south of the town of Page and arrived there about 5 am. Fortunately to reach this viewpoint only required about 10 minutes hiking in the dark. Arriving at what I thought was a good vantage point I set up what I thought would be a good composition. Then I waited for the sun. My reward was the beautiful magenta color on the hills and a slight pink to the now brightening sky. I hope you enjoy.
