What a Difference a Year Makes

Today the temperature is in the +4 to +8C range with the threat of rainshowers again. I was looking at some images from last winter and came across this one. I recall being out in knee deep snow with my camera to capture this somewhat rare situation in Vancouver.
For some things the change from year to year is quite obvious. The most glaring example for me is my grandson who just turned 3 a couple of months ago. The difference in a year is quite startling and I expect the next few years will be the same.
At this time of year, I usually like to ponder on the changes in my life during the past 365 days as well as try and formulate what I will do in the next 365.
What ever happens though happens for a reason, even though I might not be aware of it at the time, and it is all good in the long run.
Here's hoping the changes in your life in the next 365 days challenge you to better things and development of your self.
Live well and prosper

  1. Oh, this is one of my favourite images on your Smugmug! Besides the beautiful match of blue and white, I like the golden, sunlit, clean, and peaceful atmosphere. I also like the wonderful composition of the trees, the wall, and the street light. I believe that a good photographer is able to capture beauty everywhere with his camera.

Yes, for some things the change from year to year is quite obvious, especially for young children. They are different in every day and every month. The changes in my life are also very big. Thanks God for bring me everything in the past year! No matter what happened or what will happen to me, I always believe in the good in my life and also wish you always happy and healthy!

    Love
