Excuse Me !!! I Am Trying to Land Here !!!
As part of my continuing education program, our guest today is the famous "Phalacrocorax Atriceps". This creature is also known more commonly as a King Cormorant, or Imperial Shag. They are medium sized birds with a length of 28-31 inches and weighs 4-8 lbs. They are a colonial, monogamous species and the above photo was taken in the Falkland Islands. They are graceful fliers but very clumsy landers, although landing into thousands of other birds can't be easy.
Live well and prosper.

I always like birds because of their cute looking. The birds in above photo are "Phalacrocorax Atriceps". I checked in Chinese-English dictionary and it says they have black back and white belly with blue eyes and orange nose. Magic nature creater! She always knows how to use color!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing all the interesting wildlife knowledge and photo with your thousands of readers.
