I have always believed that the way I feel about a situation, scene, or event depends on the way I look at it. Some time ago I took an image in the Sun Yat Sen gardens near Chinatown in Vancouver. It was a rainy day with threatening clouds filling the sky. The image has been a good seller for me, but I always felt I could do more with it. Recently I opened the image in Photoshop and changed the sky to a warmer sunset which I had taken elsewhere at a different time. I must say I find the warmth of the new image shown here to be more pleasing to my eye.
For someone who doesn't know that this image is a composite of two images, might think that I happen upon these scenes through luck or chance. It just reinforces my belief that when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
Live well and prosper
