The Sands of Time

Well I am back! After 45 hours enroute from Namibia, I have had almost a week to return to normal and think I am getting close. The above image is of the amazing sand dunes near Sossussvlei in southwest Nambia. On this day we experienced a thunder and lightning storm with no rain! I will be sharing many exciting images of landscapes, animals and the Himba village people in the days to come, along (hopefully) with some words of wisdom or at least near wisdom in the days to come.
Hope you all have been creating wonderful days for yourselves.
Live well and prosper

  1. When you showed me your images of Namibia sand dunes, my eyes were caught by it's brilliant color and grandeur . Under the beautiful sapphire sky, in the pure bright sunshine, endless sand dunes lying on the golden land with their perfect curves which are made by wind. Especially, I like the contrast between sunlit side and shady side of the sand dunes. Blue, orange, brown, and yellow are so harmonious here! What a great artist nature is! And I like what you captured from nature! I could not help painting it and expressing how excited I was! For the focal point, in the left of the forground, I add a dead tree bark that is from your another image. I painted it brown color with some high light avoid the original black color of dead tree barks. For my own loving thought, I added two birds flying in the sky because they represent you and I. I know how much I love you!
