Banff Jasper Highway

This is Peyto (pi-tow) Lake along the Banff Jasper Highway.  I have been asked whether I made the lake this color of blue in photoshop.  The answer is that the lake is actually this color and is quite spectacular.

Back from Jasper and Banff

I just returned from a photo trip to Banff, and Jasper in Alberta.  Here is a sunset from Vermilion Lakes just outside of the Banff town.  I will post more images in the coming days.

The Serenity of Nature

This beautiful nature scene was found just north of Vancouver near Shannon Falls.  I love the serenity and peace that I sense from the image.

A Blue Sunset??

Here is an image taken on Vancouver Island during sunset.  I always liked the blue tone with just a hint of a fading sunset.  What makes the image for me is the seagull flying in my direction.
